This Is It! Southern Kitchen & Bar-B-Q

I usually do not post reviews. However definitely had to make an exception for the service I received. First most people are going to complain about the food prices, but this is not a burger business. The food is good so the price is fair. Let me move the service. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Jayla absolutely phenomenal customer service. Her attitude attentiveness and genuine care manner shows she do her job because it’s a representative of her. I would recommend you stopping by and checking this place out honestly everyone treats you well here I was having a bad day and Jayla had me walk away with great food. Thank you Jayla!!!

Kaylah was awesome, hands down she was fantastic all the way around she was awesome. Went above and beyond not only for me but other customers as well. Shawn was awesome she came from the back to help out and keep line moving, good customer service. Really EVERYONE is the store was awesome and did a great job. Food was good and hot Delicious delicious delicious Nice size portions Got my money worth

We wanted some soul food so we stopped in at this establishment on a Saturday afternoon. We were anticipating that they would still be offering the 2 for $35 meal which includes drink and dessert but they no longer offer it. The staff was nice and It wasn’t busy so we were able to order quickly. I was a little nervous about the food quality after reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the baked chicken over dressing and gravy with mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything I had was tasty and fresh. My BF got the turkey wings, which he said was a little dry but the seasoning and flavor was good. Both meals came up to $37 with tax which isn’t bad. This place may be a hit or miss but it’s a good option if you want good soul food at an affordable price.

My experience at This Is It was definitely better than what I’ve had at the Fayetteville location. The food here tasted fresher and was seasoned just right. I had the usual—smothered pork chops with mac and cheese, yams, and cornbread—and everything came out hot and flavorful. The pork chops were tender, and the gravy wasn’t too salty like I’ve experienced before. The mac and cheese was creamy, the yams had the perfect sweetness, and the cornbread was soft with just enough crumble. The portions were generous, so I definitely got my money’s worth this time. The service was also a step up compared to other locations. The staff was polite, moved the line efficiently, and made sure everything in my order was correct before I left. The dining area was clean and well-kept, and the overall vibe felt more welcoming. All in all, it was a satisfying experience—good food, good service, and definitely a spot I’d consider visiting again when I’m craving soul food.
